Day 1 |
Arrival in Guwahati |

Transfer to Kaziranga
● Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station.
● Upon your arrival, meet our local representative and board
your transfer to Kaziranga National Park which is UNESCO
World Heritage Site.
● Reach Kaziranga and check into the hotel/homestay.
● Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing, in preparation for the fun
and adventurous journey that lies ahead.
● Overnight stay in a hotel at Kaziranga

Transfer to Shillong
● Early morning, head out to enjoy a jeep safari Arranged
by the wanderlust in the Kaziranga national park.
● Kaziranga National Park is home to many species of
animals & birds including the One-horned rhino.
● Return to the hotel for your breakfast.
● Post breakfast, start the journey toward Shillong -
Scotland of the east.
● On the way take a stop over at the beautiful Umiam
Lake, a man-made reservoir surrounded by Sylvan hills.
● Further, proceed towards your hotel in Shillong.
● Upon reaching, check in to the hotel and spend the rest
of the evening at leisure wherein you can choose to
explore the local market (at your own expense).

Day 3 |
Shillong to Cherrapunjee |

Visit the cascading Seven Sister falls
● Post breakfast in the morning, board your transfers for
Cherrapunjee which is known as the wettest place on earth
as it receives the max amount of rainfall.
● On the way, take a detour of the Shillong Peak which is the
highest peak in Meghalaya from where you can soak in the
views of the entire Shillong city.
● Next, take a short photo stop at Elephant Falls.
● Move further towards Cherrapunjee, which is known to be
the wettest place on earth in terms of rainfall.
● Here, visit the viewpoint of the famous Nohkalikai Falls and
get to know the dreadful story behind this beautiful
waterfall.
● After this, stop at the viewpoint of the Seven Sisters’ Falls to
enjoy the amazing views of these 7-streamed waterfalls.
● Spend some time exploring the Mawsmai caves famous for
their fossils and limestone structures that can be viewed
with the lit-up interiors.
● Lastly, visit the Garden of caves which is surrounded by
misty green hills and forests all around, this place is home
to a number of gorgeous waterfalls, tiny little ponds and an
enchanting cave.
● After completing the day’s sightseeing, reach your hotel in
Cherrapunjee.
● Overnight stay at the hotel in Cherrapunjee.
Note: It is advised to spend a maximum of 40-45 mins at 1 sightseeing place
Day 4 |
Nongriat Trek Day |

Walk on the Living Double Decker Root
Bridge
● After breakfast, proceed to Tyrna village from where you
will begin your trek.
● Start the trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge (Nongriat)
with the local guide through a beautiful trail of forest and
bridges.
● Upon reaching the final destination, spend some time
exploring around.
● Later on, you can also extend your hike to Rainbow Falls at
an extra cost of Rs 1500/-.
● Begin your return journey to the Tyrna village by hiking up
to 3000 steps.
● By evening, board your vehicle to Cherrapunjee.
● Overnight stay at the hotel in Cherrapunjee
Day 5 |
: Cherrapunjee to Shillong via Dawki |

● After having your breakfast at the hotel, board your
transfers to explore some of the most beautiful places in
Meghalaya.
● Take your first stopover at Mawlynnong (110 km/ 02 ½ hrs
drive) and get a chance to walk around Asia’s Cleanest
Village.
● On the outskirts of the village, witness nature’s wonder in
the form of a Balancing Rock, which remains unmoved
through years, despite the storms and cyclones.
● Later, visit the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai
village.
● Post this you will reach Dawki where the ultimate
experience of boating in crystal clear waters of the Umngot
river awaits you (at your own expense).
● After enjoying your boat ride, head back to Shillong.
● Overnight at the hotel in Shillong.
End Of The Trip
● Have your breakfast at the hotel and pack your bags as
you end your amazing Meghalaya trip today.
● On the way, visit Kamakhya Temple, which is one of the
most revered Shaktipeeth (depending on your time of
departure).
● Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at the
Airport / Railway Station.
